How does the 6am digest help me spot a trade that is falling behind before the schedule runs out?
You stop finding out three weeks late at the GC meeting. The 6am digest tells every owner what they own, every morning, and the project view shows who is behind while there is still schedule left to…

If a coordinator quits, how do I find out who changed a column and why?
You don't lose that history when someone leaves, because it never lived with them. It lives with the model. Every export is versioned and compared element by element.

When your coordinator leaves, does the project history walk out the door with them?
No. The history stays with the model, not with the person. This is the headache: someone who has been on the job two years carries the whole story in their head. Who moved the duct. When it moved.

Why did the clash my team closed on Friday show up on site again on Monday?
Because the close wasn't tied to the model. Someone marked it done in Teams or email, the model kept the old geometry, and the field built what the model still said.

How fast can we see what a new export moved before the crew hits it on site?
Fast. An export gets versioned and compared element by element the moment it lands, so the team sees what moved in about 15 minutes instead of a 90-minute meeting spent working it out.

When a coordinator leaves the project, how do I keep the history of who changed what and why?
When a coordinator leaves, the history doesn't leave with them, because it was never stored in their head. BidLight keeps one live record of the project inside Revit and Navisworks.

Why does the 6am digest land before the crew wakes up instead of after the slip has already happened?
Because the slip is already in the model. Waiting for the weekly meeting to find out who is behind is how a clash sits for three weeks and the work behind it stops.

When an issue is closed, what proof does BidLight actually require?
When an issue gets closed in BidLight, it closes with proof. A screenshot, a tagged user, and the model commit that fixed it. No proof, no close. That changes the accountability on the job.

Can I publish from Navisworks as well as Revit, and does each publish keep its own files and author?
Yes. BidLight runs inside Revit and inside Navisworks, and you publish straight from the model or the federated model. Each publish is its own version, so nothing gets written over.
