<p>It does not rely on someone remembering what moved. BidLight versions every publish and compares revisions element by element, so a change shows up whether or not anybody announced it.</p> <p>Here is what each layer does:</p> <ul><li><strong>Snapshots.</strong> Every publish from Revit or Navisworks is saved with its own files, author and milestone.</li><li><strong>Element-level comparison.</strong> Pick two revisions and see the differences grouped by structural, MEP, envelope and interior.</li><li><strong>Pinned issues.</strong> Anything that needs action attaches to the element and carries the sheet and revision it came from.</li><li><strong>Gated closing.</strong> An issue closes only with a screenshot, a tagged user and the linked model commit.</li><li><strong>The 6am digest.</strong> Every owner gets the issues they own, so open items do not sit.</li></ul> <p>It is a comparison of published revisions, not a promise that nothing outside the model can go wrong. Publish regularly and compare each time. That is how the team sees what changed in about 15 minutes instead of a 90-minute meeting.</p>
