Yes. The project record stays with the project, not the person. Every export from Revit or Navisworks is versioned and compared element by element.

Yes. The project record stays with the project, not the person.

Every export from Revit or Navisworks is versioned and compared element by element. So the next coordinator opens the model history and sees what changed, on which element. No hunting through old PDFs or asking around the office.

Issues carry their own trail. Each one is pinned to the element it concerns and closes only with proof: a screenshot, a tagged user and the model commit that fixed it. Handover becomes reading the log, not reconstructing it from memory.

The 6am digest keeps ownership visible after the switch. Whoever picks up the issue gets told what they own that day, and the project view shows who is behind while there is still schedule to recover.

That matters because chasing which version is current eats about 11 hours a week, and a coordination meeting can run 90 minutes where 15 would do. A clash sitting unresolved can burn $15K to $50K a week in idle field labour. A clash caught in the model costs about $50. The same one found in the field runs $5,000 to $50,000.

So the answer is in the versions, the pinned issues and the daily digest. Nothing walks out the door with your coordinator.
