How flexible is the software in terms of customization can i adjust or create new categories to better fit my projects needs

I often come across unique elements in my designs that don't always fit into standard categories. Can I tweak things in BidLight to better suit my projects? Like, is it easy to change up the existing categories or even add in new ones that match what I'm working on?

Yes, BidLight offer total flexibility in regards to categories.
You can :
* import categories
* create categories
* track categories
Also you can map many templates categories to your revit categories
