Every export from BidLight is versioned, and every version is diffed element by element. That history is the proof.

Every export from BidLight is versioned, and every version is diffed element by element. That history is the proof. When a sub says they priced revision C, you can pull up revision C and see exactly what was in it, what changed from B, and when.

Here is how to use it:

Have the sub publish their quote against a named export, not a loose PDF.

Open that version in BidLight and check the timestamp and element count.

Run the diff against the next export to see what shifted after they priced.

Attach the diff to the change order so the scope delta is explicit.

Keep the digest that lands by 6am, so nobody is reconstructing this from Teams threads three weeks later.

One live record means the quote and the model point at the same thing. No more comparing PDFs side by side, and no more two hour meetings asking who moved the duct.

If a clash sat unresolved for a week, field labor standing idle runs $15K to $50K. Three weeks of that costs more than BidLight does for the year.
