The snapshot records its files, author and milestone.</li><li>Compare it to the previous revision. Added, removed and modified elements appear by category.</li><li>Pin an issue to each element that another trade has to act on. A 3D screenshot is captured automatically.</li><li>Tag the owner. They see it in their 6am digest.</li><li>When the fix lands, close the issue with a screenshot, a tagged user and the linked model commit.</li></ul> <p>Each step leaves evidence, so when someone says they never heard about the change, you show them the date, the element and the person who was tagged.</p> <p>That record also keeps the day-to-day moving. Rework you can trace is rework you can stop: a clash caught in the model costs about $50, the same one found in the field costs $5,000 to $50,000.</p>
