A messy model does not stop coordination, but it limits what the comparison can see.</p> <p>Renovation models are often incomplete: existing conditions modelled loosely, demo scope implied rather than drawn, existing MEP missing.</p> <ul><li>Publish what you have. The first snapshot becomes your baseline.</li><li>Pin an issue to every area where existing conditions are unverified, and tag whoever has to confirm them.</li><li>As survey and field findings arrive, update the model and publish again.</li><li>Compare each revision to the baseline. You see what moved by category.</li><li>Close issues only with a screenshot, a tagged user and the linked model commit.</li></ul> <p>Set phases in Revit so existing, demo and new elements are separated.
