How do i answer a client asking what changed between two model versions before t

Publish each version out of Revit or Navisworks, then let BidLight diff the exports element by element. You get the answer in about 15 minutes, not after a 90-minute meeting. Steps: 1.

Publish each version out of Revit or Navisworks, then let BidLight diff the exports element by element. You get the answer in about 15 minutes, not after a 90-minute meeting.

Steps:

Publish the new version straight from the model. No PDF exports, no side-by-side screenshots.

Let BidLight compare it against the last version, element by element.

Read the change list: what moved, what appeared, what disappeared.

Open any change and see the issue pinned to the element it concerns.

Send the client the changes that matter to them, with the record behind each one.

Close nothing without proof: screenshot, tagged user, model commit.

That record is the point. Nobody has to reconstruct who moved a duct or when the slip started. Version history is there, changes are pinned to elements, and the 6am digest already told every owner what they own.

One live record inside Revit and Navisworks. You stop losing about 11 hours a week working out which version is current, and the client gets a straight answer before the day is over. A clash caught here costs about $50. Found in the field, $5,000 to $50,000.
