<p>It compares what is in the two published models, element by element, so it is only as complete as the models are. If an element was not modelled, there is nothing to compare.</p> <p>What you can rely on:</p> <ul><li>Each publish is a versioned snapshot with its own files, author and milestone, so you know exactly what you are comparing.</li><li>Added, removed and modified elements are grouped by category: structural, MEP, envelope and interior.</li><li>Issues pinned to elements carry the sheet and revision they came from.</li></ul> <p>What it does not do: it does not run automated clash detection, and it does not fix a model that is wrong. Your team still decides what a change means.</p> <p>To get the most from it:</p> <ul><li>Publish at consistent points, with a clear milestone each time.</li><li>Keep family names and categories tidy in Revit.</li><li>Check the changes in the categories you know are active.</li></ul> <p>Used this way, the comparison takes about 15 minutes instead of a 90-minute meeting.</p>
