I want to be able to identify and detect clashes and other issues like deign errors and omissions in the design phase of my project. Does BidLight support BIM360 issues?

Yes, if your projects are stored on the BIM 360 cloud and have issues associated with them, you can use BidLight to preview those issue in the BidLight 3D viewer
