<p>No. You do not rebuild anything when the model changes, because BidLight works with the publishes you already make from Revit and Navisworks instead of beside them.</p> <p>Here is what happens:</p> <ul><li>Each publish is a versioned snapshot with its own files, author and milestone. There is no separate re-entry step.</li><li>Issues are pinned to the elements they concern and carry the sheet and revision they came from, so you know exactly which version raised them.</li><li>Compare the new snapshot with the last one and the differences are listed element by element, grouped by structural, MEP, envelope and interior.</li><li>Check which open issues sit on elements that moved, then update or close them. A resolution has to prove itself against the model snapshot that delivered it.</li></ul> <p>The record is kept as the work happens, so nobody reconstructs the history from email threads or 47 versions of the same markup.</p>
