Can my mep sub close issues without ever logging into bidlight

No. Closing an issue in BidLight needs a person and a model commit, so your MEP sub will log in. That is the point of it. Here is what closing looks like.

No. Closing an issue in BidLight needs a person and a model commit, so your MEP sub will log in. That is the point of it.

Here is what closing looks like. The issue is pinned to the element it concerns. To close it, someone attaches proof: a screenshot, a tagged user and the model commit that fixed it. An issue closes only with that proof. No proof, no close. That is how you stop the same clash coming back next week and burning $15K to $50K in idle field labour while it sits open.

The good news for your sub: publishing works straight from Revit and from the federated model in Navisworks. They do not learn a new authoring tool or upload exports by hand. They publish from the model they are already in.

They also get their own 6am digest of what they own. No chasing, no asking you what is theirs today.

So the login is light, and it buys them something: a clean list of what they own and a record that proves they fixed it. That record is what keeps a $50 model fix from turning into a $5,000 to $50,000 field problem.

If they need a hand getting started, point them at the Basics plan at $260 per licence per year.
