Can i close an issue without a screenshot and a name attached to it

No. An issue in BidLight closes only with proof: a screenshot, a tagged user and the model commit that fixed it. That is the whole point.

When anyone can mark something resolved, the clash goes quiet in the log and comes back in the field. Then the crew shows up to a duct that still conflicts with the sprinkler main. Work stops. Nobody owns it. One unresolved clash can burn $15K to $50K a week in idle field labour, and the same clash fixed in the model costs about $50.

How it works on a real job:

Someone finds a clash or a model change and pins the issue to the element it concerns, inside Revit or Navisworks.

The owner gets it in the 6am digest, so they know what they own that day.

They fix it in the model and attach a screenshot of the result.

They tag themselves, and the model commit that fixed it gets recorded.

The issue closes with that evidence attached. The project view shows who is behind while there is still schedule to recover.

So no screenshot, no name, no commit, no closure. That is how the record stays worth trusting.
